It is a happy day! I’m pleased with myself, because as a complete novice, I’ve managed to get hosting and install Wordpress. I’ve picked what I think is a briliant theme and I’m looking forward to stamping my on mark on it.

What I really want o do is learn how to adapt the code so that I can make some modifications myself. That’s someway off however.

For now I’m just going to carry on designing my new blog and working on a proper first post.

I have much to learn - or example I feel sure that I can;t just borrow smiley face pictures without either getting permission or giving credit - I’ll look into that aspect fairly swiftly.
